In the Numerical Simulation Lab, our students can gain hands-on experience on industrial grade simulators, well testing, production optimization and phase behavior software. The lab is open to undergraduate and graduate students for educational and research purposes. | | | | |
The equipment and software in the lab are
- 6 computers with Windows operating system
- 1 HP Design Jet 500 A0 plotter
- 1 Laserjet printer
- C/C++, FORTRAN, Visual Basic compilers
- Eclipse reservoir simulator
- Ecrin (Saphir,Topaze,Diamant) and Emeraud for well test analysis
- Condense for hydrocarbon phase behavior predictions
- Tough II geothermal simulator
- Pipe Works for gas-pipe networks design
